Grading
• Sugar gum timber is characterised by high
density, impact resistance and its superior durability class 1 rating.
It is a straight grained timber with a blonde to tan colour with
minimal or rare occurrences of gum vein and kino.
• Timber - Natural durability ratings (AS 5604
-2003) Sugar gum truewood untreated:
- inground Class 1 >20 years
- above ground Class 1 >40 years
- termite resistant above ground inside
• The majority of sugar gum is select grade.
(board has both faces and edges clear of feature)
Orders
• When placing an order a 20% deposit will be
required.
• Custom sizes can be ordered with a deposit
of 20%. Please allow up to 6 months for custom orders.
• Fixed length orders are available for an additional
15% above the list price.
